Mothers

Motherhood knows no age.

Time goes by. Kids grow up and have their own. Those once in need of care have now to give the same to others.

Nevertheless, they’ll always be “kids to protect” to their moms.

This artwork investigates this very sense of continuity, represented by a mom with her own baby, while her elderly mom is gently covering her shoulders with a blanket from behind.

To best emphasise the idea itself of protection, typical of any mother, angel wings are used to clearly represent both the moms as lifelong guardian angels for their respective “baby”.
